Drew Hargrave enters her ninth season as head coach of Haverford College volleyball team in 2024. Since being named head coach prior to the 2016 season, Hargrave has guided the Fords to a 113-82 record and four appearances in the Centennial Conference Tournament.

In 2022, sophomore middle blocker Taylor Jones became Haverford’s second consecutive AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, earning the 12th All-America plaudit in program history after also earning Centennial Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

The Yorba Linda, Calif. product earned her second All-Centennial Conference nod in as many seasons after leading the conference in hitting percentage (.387), and finishing second in blocks per set (0.99) and third in total blocks (86). Haverford's primary blocker finished the season ranked 17th in Division III for hitting percentage, and 47th in blocks per set. Jones' .387 hitting percentage was also the second-best all-time in Haverford program history.

Volleyball earned its sixth appearance in the NCAA tournament and first since the 2014 season in 2021, taking an at-large selection after reaching the Centennial Conference Championship. 

The 2021 season saw Hargrave take home the Centennial Conference Coach of the Year Award, becoming the first leader of the Haverford program to earn that award since Amy Bergin in 2008. Hargrave guided the Fords to a 24-6 record overall, and a 9-1 conference mark as the Fords advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament with a victory over UMass-Boston in the opening round of action in Cambridge, Mass. 

The squad posted its best record since the 2009 campaign, while first-year Juliet Young was named AVCA honorable mention All-America following the season.

Hannah Dalton joined the Haverford coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2023 season after graduating from nearby Cabrini University in December of 2021 with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Criminology and Political Science. 

Dalton finished an illustrious playing career as an outside hitter for Cabrini, where she was a three-year team captain, a Division III AVCA All-America Honorable Mention in 2021, as well as a back-to-back AVCA Division III All-Region selection in both 2021 and 2022.

A two-time Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year for the Cavaliers, Dalton was subsequently named ECAC Offensive Player of the Year as well as the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Performer of the Year following the 2021 campaign. In that standout season, Dalton tied a Cabrini program record with a conference-best 505 kills. She was also named the Atlantic East Rookie of the Year after her first year season in 2018. 

Dalton began her coaching career in 2018 at East Coast Power Volleyball Club where she had been a player during high school. She was an assistant coach for two years before transitioning to a head coaching position. Hannah spent two seasons as head coach on regional teams before moving up to head coaching a national team in 2022. Throughout her coaching career, she has also directed and coached at several camps and clinics including Power Juniors Clinics, positional camps, and high school tune-up camps. She is excited to be continuing her coaching career at the college level.

Dalton currently resides in Abington, Pennsylvania and attended Abington High School.
